Adult - Aquatics

ADULT LEARN-TO-SWIM
Ages 14 & up. A special 45 minute class for adults
who don’t feel at ease in the water or who have not
had swimming lessons before. Instructors work with
small groups to help individuals overcome their fears
and begin to develop basic swimming ability and water
safety skills.

ADVANCED ADULT
LEARN -TO- SWIM

Ages 13 & up. This class is designed for adults who
have been taking the learn to swim class or have some
swimming experience and are ready to work on stroke
improvement and building up endurance. Instructors
work with small groups to help improve your strokes and
go one step further to reaching your swimming goals.

ADULT PRIVATE & SEMI
PRIVATE SWIM LESSONS

Extra attention and special scheduling are some of
the special touches of private lessons. Classes are
one-on-one and utilize the same teaching techniques
as group lessons. Semi private lessons are for 2-3
adults or parent-child who wish to take lessons
together. Four 30-minute lessons.

AEROBIC SWIMMING
Goal is to perform a 30 minute continuous swim. For
beginner to intermediate swimmers ages 18 and up.
Pre-requisite is ability to swim 2 laps continuously.
Instruction will include relaxation during swim,
efficiency and building skills. Recommended to use
goggles and fins. Class limit 5.

MASTERS SWIM TEAM
Take your recreational swimming to the next level as
you build camaraderie and health with fellow swim
enthusiasts. Attend as many or as few practices
as you like, at any location. Coached by David Steel.

AQUATHERAPY
This class is specifically designed to increase
muscular strength, range of movement and the skills
required for daily living through gentle stretching,
walking and light strength training in the pool.

NEW! HIGH INTENSITY
AQUA JOGGING

Members will be required to wear an AquaJogging belt around the waist and will perform multiple exercises in the deeper end of our pool. Members will use aqua hand weights as well in a circuit training fashion of multiple movements’ requiring total body muscles to get a great low intensity workout.

 

AQUACISE WATER FITNESS
Structured hour long water fitness class for adults
with aerobic, strength building & endurance
components. This fitness class uses low-stress
water resistance for a stimulating and safe workout.
Water walking will also be incorporated.
