Let’s get our kids back on track! Camp Golden Arrow is an enriching and fun-filled program for children in grades 1-6, held at the Winsted Y. The campers day will consist of a morning warm-up, core camp activities, daily outdoor play and exciting weekly visitors.
CORE CAMP ACTIVITIES
Arts & Crafts: Campers will be able to find their inner artist and let imagination flow. We will learn new crafts and explore many different art forms.
Indoor/ Outdoor Physical Fitness: Campers will participate and interact each day in organized activities to keep them moving and help build the skills needed to work as a team.
Camper Readers: 30 minutes per class consisting of shared and independent reading.
Swimming: Each day campers will take a trip to our heated indoor pool with a swim instructor and lifeguards present in addition to our camp staff.
Healthy Eating: Through a partnership with EdAdvance, we are once again pleased to offer lunch to campers free of charge. Lunch will be served with a fruit or vegetable, snack, and milk or water to drink.
