Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure the safety of all swimmers
- Provide emergency care and treatment as required
- Maintain a clean and safe pool environment
- Enforce facility policies, rules, and regulations
- Conduct regular equipment checks and pool chemical levels
Qualifications
- Must be at least 17 years old
- Current lifeguard certification (Red Cross, YMCA, or equivalent)
- Strong swimming skills and physical fitness
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergencies
