Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure the safety of all swimmers
  • Provide emergency care and treatment as required
  • Maintain a clean and safe pool environment
  • Enforce facility policies, rules, and regulations
  • Conduct regular equipment checks and pool chemical levels

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 17 years old
  • Current lifeguard certification (Red Cross, YMCA, or equivalent)
  • Strong swimming skills and physical fitness
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergencies
