Welcome to the Northwestern Connecticut YMCA’s 2025 Summer Day Camps! This summer, we’re excited to offer a variety of enriching programs designed to help children learn new skills, develop character, and make lasting friendships. From the adventurous activities at YMCA Camp M.O.E. to the dynamic challenges of our Ninja Warrior Camp, each experience is crafted to promote growth, independence, and fun. Join us in creating memorable outdoor experiences that will inspire and engage your child all summer long.

Y counselors are dedicated to making sure camp is an amazing experience for every camper.

Our Camps

YMCA Camp M.O.E.

Torrington | Ages 5-15 | YMCA Camp M.O.E. is a Y day camp for boys and girls, ages 5-15 with our goal to create Memorable Outdoor Experiences as they have fun! Our caring camp staff create a supportive atmosphere that helps each child to learn, grow and thrive. Located on over 174 acres of beautiful woods Torrington & Goshen, complete with fields, trails, and our beautiful waterfront.

Ninja Warrior Camp

Torrington YMCA | Ages 6-12 | Come spend your summer training to be the next Ninja Warrior. Camper’s days will be filled by tackling new challenges and obstacles each day, including our Warped Wall. Ninjas will also be able to enjoy time to cool off in the pool, making this the best summer experience ever! Camp takes place in the Y’s new air conditioned Ninja Training Center.

Rising Star Camp

Elk's Pond, Torrington | Ages 6-13 | Leader-In-Training 14-16 | Rising Star Camp is a structured day camp specially designed to promote self-esteem, conflict resolution skills, positive interactions and success in its participants. Rising Star Camp is a unique program that accommodates children who may not have had the opportunity to attend day camp. This program is also designed to support children who have struggled with the traditional day camp experience.

TORYMCA

Torrington YMCA | Ages 6-12 | TORYMCA is a planned fun-filled summer! The camper’s day consists of core camp activities, camper-chosen electives, and daily outdoor play to help each child build confidence and try new things. Camper extended care is available.

Sunshine Preschool Summer Program

Torrington YMCA | Ages 3-5 | Kids have the opportunity to learn, try new activities, gain independence, and make lasting friendships & memories. Children will discover weekly themes, arts & crafts, music & center time, outside & water play & swim lessons. Extended care is available, please inquire if needed.
